As Head of Technology and R&D at Agorai, Alex leads the development of the Hub's AI platform and research agenda across all active use cases. 

A PhD physicist turned product leader, their career has been defined by building complex, high-stakes systems at scale. As Executive Director at arXiv (Cornell Tech), they led the full strategic and operational transformation of one of the world's most influential open science platforms. At Meta, they designed the release and safety workflows for the Llama model family, scaling infrastructure to support over a billion downloads, and co-chaired the MLCommons AILuminate Taxonomy Group on international AI safety benchmarking. Most recently at Cranium AI, they led platform strategy for enterprise AI security under the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF.
